Question
The syntax checking functionality in ReSharper is not accurate for specific statements. How to change dialect for project or file?
Cause
This issue occurs due to the currently selected SQL dialect being set does not match the actual dialect of the used database.
Answer
-
Go to ReSharper | Options | Code Inspection | SQL | SQL Dialects.
-
Change the global SQL Dialect for the entire solution, or configure custom dialects for specific files or folders.
Alternatively, the SQL Dialect for an individual file can be changed directly in the editor by using the selector located at the bottom left corner of the window.
