How to use personal AI subscription with IDE Services

Description

When AI Enterprise is disabled in an IDE Services profile, an IDE launched from Toolbox cannot use a personal AI subscription. AI Assistant shows AI Enterprise is disabled by company policy message.

Resolution

To use a personal AI subscription with IDE Services, use an unmanaged IDE:

1. Do not launch the IDE from Toolbox.
2. Configure the IDE to connect directly to the IDE Services License Vault URL.

You can then use your personal AI subscription in the IDE.
