Central CLI login fails on IDE Services On-Premises 2026.0.2 with "No such client 'central-cli'"

Problem

When running central login --enterprise against an IDE Services On-Premises deployment (version 2026.0.2.*) and entering the IDE Services URL, login fails.

The browser receives a 400 Bad Request response from the /api/login endpoint with the message:

Cause

This behavior is related to the IDE Services version. The issue is reproducible on IDE Services 2026.0.2.* and is not reproducible on IDE Services 2026.1.3.*.

Resolution

1. Upgrade IDE Services to the latest available version.

2. After upgrading, re-authenticate Central CLI by running:

central logout
central login --enterprise

No additional configuration is required beyond updating IDE Services and re-running the login process.
