Is it possible to configure TeamCity to use multiple LDAP configurations, allowing different setups for specific users, custom attribute mapping for different user groups, etc.?
Answer
Currently, TeamCity does not support multiple LDAP configurations. This limitation means that it's not possible to set up different configurations for different users. For example, mapping the mail attribute to another attribute, like extensionAttribute8, only for some users.
The behavior and limitations of LDAP integration in TeamCity are detailed in the documentation.
To work around this, it may be possible to use an external script or transformation tool to preprocess and unify LDAP data before it is synchronized with TeamCity.
