Base committers count is not increased after purchasing additional committers

Symptoms

• Additional committer slots were purchased.
• The base number of committers on the Administration > Subscription & Resources page was not updated to reflect this change.

Cause

There are two ways to purchase additional committer slots:

1. Renewing the subscription with additional committer slots in the subscription. This takes effect only at the start of a new subscription period, i.e., at the beginning of the next month.
2. Additional committer slots for the current subscription period can be purchased with build credits at any time and will be added immediately.

If the subscription was renewed with an increased number of committer slots, this change is not reflected immediately. The changes to the subscription take effect only at the start of a new subscription period, i.e., at the beginning of the next month.

Resolution

To increase the number of commiter slots during the current subscription period, the additional commiter slots should be purchased with build credits.
