Removing the build agent from the TeamCity UI

Symptoms

1. The build agent was unauthorized and disabled.
2. There is no way to remove the build agent from the UI.

Cause

Even when unauthorized and disabled, the build agent still stays connected to the TeamCity server. Only disconnected agents can be deleted.

Resolution

Stop the build agent's process or Windows service to disconnect it and refresh the agent's page. The option to remove the build agent will become available:
