Entra ID authentication with groups synchronization

Question

The TeamCity Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) Integration plugin does not support synchronization of Active Directory groups (related issue).

Is there a way to set up the Entra ID authentication with Active Directory groups synchronization?

The TeamCity SAML Authentication plugin can be used as an alternative. It supports groups and can be used with Entra ID. The example configuration can be found here.
