User is randomly logged out of TeamCity

Symptoms

The users get randomly logged out of TeamCity, or session-level data gets randomly lost.

Cause

If other Java web applications are available via the same hostname, a session cookie conflict can occur and cause such behavior.

Resolution

Different hostnames should be used for accessing different applications.

"Name must not be empty" on creating build configuration (conflict with another web application within the same web server)
