Question
How to hide debugger breakpoint from the gutter in IntelliJ IDE
Answer
There are a few ways to avoid displaying breakpoint in your source code. Select the approach that fits your scenario better:
Avoid distractions
Go to "Distraction free mode" ("View | Appearance | Enter Distraction free mode") to show only the application code on your screen.
Do not show gutter icons
Disable all gutter icons in "Settings | Editor | General | Gutter icons | Show gutter icons"
Remove breakpoints
Remove all breakpoints at once by action "Remove all breakpoints" (Shift+Shift, then type "Remove all breakpoints")
Do not overlap line number with the breakpoint icon
Right-click on the gutter and disable "Appearance | Breakpoint over line number"
