How to make project/class name visible in Intellij IDEA toolbar

Problem

Solution

  1. Right click on the toolbar and select "Cutomize Toolbar"

  2. Then select "Center" and click "Add"

3. Search "File Name Widget" and select it, hit "OK". The widget is shown only when editor tabs are hidden or Always show full path is enabled

4. Apply the change and it will be there.
