Problem
After updating IntelliJ IDEA to version 2025.2, the Endpoints tool window became inaccessible. The plugin was still enabled, but it was missing from the list of available tool windows.
Cause [Optional]
The issue is related to the dependency between the Endpoints plugin and the HTTP Client plugin. If the HTTP Client plugin is disabled or malfunctioning, the Endpoints tool window will not appear.
Resolution
The issue was resolved for the user by performing the following steps:
- Export the current IntelliJ IDEA configuration.
- Reset the configuration to default settings.
- Re-import the previously exported configuration.
Additionally, ensure the following:
- The HTTP Client plugin is enabled.
- The included JetBrains Marketplace Licensing plugin is functioning (automatically enabled by the IDE).
These steps restored the functionality of both the HTTP Client and Endpoints plugins, making the tool window accessible again.
