How to turn on/off floating toolbar in IntelliJ IDE?

In 2025.1, a new toolbar (floating toolbar) started appearing on Alt+Enter:

It can be hidden easily by "Don't show Toolbar" context menu item. How to restore it back?

Answer

Floating toolbar, its visibility and functionality can be controlled through IDE settings:

1. In the Settings menu, search for "Hide floating toolbar for code editing" and "Hide floating toolbar".
2. Adjust the respective checkboxes to enable or disable the toolbar to your preferences.
