Problem
User's custom IntelliJ IDEA plugin did not scan JSP files effectively when running in standalone mode.
Cause
The plugin was configured to use the Community Edition ("IC") instead of the Ultimate Edition ("IU"), which led to the lack of necessary Java EE APIs.
Resolution
- Modified the
build.gradle.ktsby setting the IntelliJ Platform to "IU" (Ultimate Edition):dependencies { intellijPlatform { create("IU", "252.19874.12") testFramework(org.jetbrains.intellij.platform.gradle.TestFrameworkType.Platform) } } - Ensure that required plugin dependencies, such as
bundledPlugin("com.intellij.java"), are included in the script. - Updated the plugin creation template to use "IU" for proper Ultimate Edition support.
This resolved the problem, enabling the plugin to effectively process JSP files in standalone testing mode.
