Smooth scrolling in JetBrains IDE

Problem

When I move a scrollbar, I see that it's laggy compared to other applications

Solution

Slow scroll may be caused by performance issues. If you have Mac, check this list of known issues on scroll smoothing: Laggy scrolling on MacOS. For other OSes, check your CPU and memory load during scrolling.

If you see that your CPU and memory resources are fully allocated, contact the Support team for further investigation. If you still have plenty of free resources, try the advanced scroll smoothing configuration:

Step 1: Go to "Settings | Appearance & Behavior | Appearance | UI option" and turn on "Smooth scrolling"
