Commit Formatting cannot be turned off if plugins Are Active in IntelliJ IDE

Problem

When committing a *.properties file within a Quarkus module, the file is incorrectly formatted, removing blank lines, despite settings intended to prevent formatting such files.

Cause

The issue arises because the Quarkus Tools plugin, in combination with the LSP4IJ plugin, remaps the Properties language of files like application.properties to a custom language ID, microprofile-properties. This mapping causes the IDE to ignore generic Properties-related settings such as:

• Settings | Editor | Code Style | Properties | Keep Blank Lines
• Settings | Editor | Code Style | Formatter | Do not format (despite the glob exclusion list including *.properties).

Additionally, this remapping bypasses the exclusion checks for formatting entirely for these files.

The mapping is non-editable (grayed out) and cannot be disabled, scoped, or removed via the Settings UI.
