Problem
The "Annotate with Git Blame" option does not appear in the gutter context menu in the IDE.
Cause
The main Git repository is not set under Settings > Version Control > Directory Mappings, which results in incomplete Git integration.
Resolution
- Navigate to File > Settings > Version Control > Directory Mappings.
- Ensure that the main project directory is correctly set as the Git repository.
- To add the directory: Click on Add, select the root directory of your project, and confirm.
- After configuring the Git repository under Directory Mappings, restart the IDE if necessary to refresh the settings.
The "Annotate with Git Blame" option should now be available in the gutter menu.
