Window appearance: Unselected windows appear dimmed

Problem

When multiple windows are open in the IDE, unselected windows appear with a dimmed or whitish overlay, which affects usability and visibility.

The behavior was traced to a third-party plugin, Window Arranger, which modifies window background rendering settings.

Disable the Window Arranger plugin by following these steps:

Open the IDE and navigate to File | Settings | Plugins (or Preferences | Plugins on macOS).
Locate the "Window Arranger" plugin in the Installed tab.
Disable the plugin using the toggle next to its name, or uninstall it completely if not required.
Restart the IDE to apply changes.
