Apply patch: cannot select a missing base directory

Problem

When applying a patch from clipboard, there's a clickable item/link that allows selecting a missing base.

It is not possible to select the proper folder.

All that can be done is to open the folder, then, when the folder is reached, that's the base for the patch in question, the Open button becomes grey, and there's no way to proceed.

Cause

Select missing base refers to a file, not a folder. This is why the IDE is expecting the user to select a file to be used as a base for a patch.

Resolution

For mapping a base folder you can use the option in the toolbar - Change Directory Paths > Map Base Directory.
