Special characters NBSP showing up in a file in IDE editor, after git pull / project update

Problem

Unintended NBSP characters appear in the editor when performing git pull/update project, requiring manual deletion.

Resolution

To address this issue:

1. Open the IDE settings using the shortcut ⌘ + , on Mac or Ctrl + Alt + S on other platforms.
2. Navigate to Advanced Settings > Editor.
3. Locate the setting "Render special characters (control codes, etc) using their Unicode name abbreviations" and disable it.
4. Restart the IDE or ensure the settings are applied.
