Problem
A user is experiencing an issue where there is a "Missing access token" message in IntelliJ when navigating to File > Settings > Version Control > GitHub. Even after logging in and providing GitHub access token, and close/reopen the settings page, the message is shown again.

Cause
The issue seems to be related to IDE's inability to save the access token in the native keychain on the user's operating system.
Resolution
Switch to the In KeePass option in Settings > Appearance & Behavior > System Settings > Passwords and restart the IDE.
This option uses the IDE default (bundled) keypass database to store the access tokens.
