Problem
A user is trying to use a JetBrains IDE's EAP version in an offline environment. However, to use the EAP version, the user must have network access and log in to their JetBrains account.
Resolution
Close the "Welcome to <IDE_NAME> EAP" dialog, which will show you the "Manage Licenses" dialog.
- If you have a valid license that has not expired, visit JetBrains Account website, log in, and click the "Download a code for offline activation" link to download your offline activation code.
- If you do not have a valid license, you can contact the JetBrains sales team for a trial license by visiting JetBrains Support, selecting "Product evaluation" in the "What can we help you with?" dropdown, and submitting a request to ask for a trial activation code for offline use.
Then, in the "Manage Licenses" dialog, click the "Activate code" tab and enter the offline activation key to activate your IDE.
