How to profile an application on the end user's side (dotMemory/dotTrace)

dotMemory is used for internal testing of our software. However, the application is dependent on external applications and hardware, which is available only on the end user's side.

We would also like to profile/snapshot those applications at the customer.

Question

How can we profile our application on the client's side and which license is enough for this?

Answer

Having a dotUltimate license will cover all your needs for using dotMemory.

To be able to collect a snapshot with dotMemory, you can use a dotMemory console runner which is free of charge. Then to be able to open and analyse the coverage reports collected on the end user's machine, you need to have a standalone dotMemory or Rider with dotUltimate license.
