Question
When I run Extensions→ReSharper→Unit Tests→Cover All Tests from Solution, I get a coverage tree. But when I double-click a branch, I do not see any highlights that indicate which lines of code were not covered. It only takes me to the method indicated on the coverage tree.
The same happens if I use Rider →Cover all Unit tests.
How to get the lines of code that are not covered to be highlighted?
Answer
dotCover highlighting needs to be enabled
VisualStudio: Tools | Environment | Fonts and Colors | DotCover Code Marker
Rider: Settings | Build, Execution, Deployment | dotCover | Highlighting or a button on the toolbar of the Unit Test Coverage tool window
