Unable to Connect to IDE Service using Automation Token

Problem

A user is unable to authenticate while attempting to connect to the IDE Services via an automation token. They are encountering a 401 error when trying to use the automation token through Swagger UI.

Resolution

1. Confirm that the correct "automation token" is generated and not a permanent token.
2. Cross-check the creation process of the automation token by referring to the documentation:
   • Create Automation Token Guide (IDE Services Cloud)
   • Create Automation Token Guide (IDE Services On-Premises)
3. Verify that the term "Automation" is prefixed while pasting the generated token in the authorization header of Swagger UI.
4. Check and ensure that the user associated with the automation token has the necessary permissions to execute the required API functionalities and access IDE Services interfaces.
