Are there any limitations related to OIDC JWT Plugin usage in TeamCity Cloud?

Answer

The OIDC JWT plugin can be installed and used in TeamCity Cloud instances. As with any non-bundled plugin installation in TeamCity Cloud, we handle the installation.

However, there is a limitation when using the OIDC JWT plugin in TeamCity Cloud compared to its use in TeamCity On-Premise: the Admin section of the plugin, as shown below, is not available to TeamCity Cloud users and can only be configured by us.

Changing these settings is not necessary for the plugin to work; it works out of the box. Once the plugin is installed, it can be used as a build feature without changing these settings.

We can change the values of the 'Issuer URL:', 'RSA key size:', or 'JWT signature algorithm:' fields on a per-request basis if needed.
