Question
When reviewing the build results in TeamCity UI, the build log text is too small. Can it be increased?
Answer
There is no built-in setting to control the font size of the build logs in the TeamCity UI.
The preferred text size for readability is subjective; what is ideal for one person may not work well for another. TeamCity UI is designed using best practices with the user experience in mind and should work well for most users.
However, if the default font size does not meet your needs, third-party CSS Preprocessor browser extensions that allow changing styles of any web page can be used. For example, Stylus.
The following Stylus user style example applies to TeamCity pages available via the teamcity.example.com domain, looks for the area containing the build log, and applies 125% zoom to this area only:
/* Confirmed on TeamCity 2026.2 */
@-moz-document domain("teamcity.example.com") {
[aria-label="Build Log"] {
zoom: 1.25 !important;
}
}
Important:
- This is not an officially supported method.
- The above example is confirmed only on TeamCity 2026.2. It may not work for other (past or future) TeamCity versions.
- Any issues related to the use of third-party CSS Preprocessors are outside TeamCity support scope.
