Branch details not visible

Problem

Unable to see the branch details for the build being deployed: Branch label is not displayed in a dependent build configuration with an artifact dependency.

Cause

The branch label will not display unless at least one of the following conditions is met:

• A VCS root is attached to the dependent build configuration.
• A snapshot dependency is configured, linking the current build to a branched build configuration.

Resolution

Do one or both of the following:

• Attach a VCS root to the dependent build configuration.
• Add a snapshot dependency on a build configuration with an attached, branched VCS root.

This issue is not permission-related.
