When the build agent is run in Docker, Performance Monitor shows data for the host machine, not the container

Symptoms

• The build agent runs inside a Docker container.
• The build configuration has the Performance Monitor build feature added.
• Performance Monitor shows statistics for the host machine instead of statistics for the container.

Cause

It's expected. On Linux and macOS agents performance monitor obtains statistics from vmstat, /proc/diskstats and /proc/meminfo. The vmstat command, when run inside a Docker container, reports statistics for the host system, not the resource limits or usage specific to the container.
