Using JetBrains-hosted agents for .NET 10 Builds

Is .NET 10 supported on JetBrains-hosted build agents?

Answer

The JetBrains-hosted agents available in TeamCity Cloud now include support for .NET 10. However, there is a global.json that may need to be overridden in order to use .NET 10. It can be done with one of the following options:

• Include a global.json with the .NET version needed for your build in the root of your project. For example:

• Run dotnet new globaljson --sdk-version 10.0.101 --roll-forward latestFeature --force as a Command Line build step before your .NET steps. This creates the global.json in the working directory of your project on the build agent for use during the current build.
