Automatic triggers for build configurations are disabled even after additional committers slots were purchased

Symptoms

Confirmed affected versions: 2025.07

1. The TeamCity Cloud instance had no available committer slots.
2. There were commits from unlicensed committers in some build configurations.
3. This led to automatic triggers being disabled for these build configurations. The following pop-up is displayed:
4. Additional committer slots were purchased.
5. Administration > Subscription & Resources > Committers page shows all committers licensed. There are no committers without a license.
6. The automatic triggers are still disabled. The same pop-up is displayed.

Cause

The check for available committer slots occurs after the build is triggered. As these build configurations can't be triggered automatically, the check that would result in re-enabling the automatic triggers doesn't happen.

Resolution

We're working on changing this logic.

Workaround

Triggering the mentioned in the error message build configurations manually will run the committers licenses check and should re-enable automatic triggering.
