Build configuration Build2 has a snapshot dependency on Build1. Triggering the Build2 starts a build chain Build1 > Build2.

Is there a way to show or output the estimated remaining time to finish for the whole build chain in one place?

A composite build configuration should be used to track the build chain progress and results in a single place. Composite build configurations aggregate all information from their dependencies and present it in a centralized manner without running any build routines or occupying a build agent.

The composite build configuration should be the topmost build configuration of a chain. If the build chain is started by triggering a composite build, it will show the estimated finish time for the whole build chain in the duration column, similarly to how it works for a singular build:
