Usage of the search index and Lucene query syntax

According to the documentation, the Lucene query syntax can be used to search for the builds. It also uses a search index to enable the search.

What field can be used to search for the builds using it?

Answer

This search is used in a search field that can be found in the top right corner of the UI, with a Search by Build Number label.

Additional information

This search, and the above-mentioned search field, are enabled by the bundled searchBuildByNumber (Search builds) plugin, which means that it's installed and enabled by default, but can be disabled by the TeamCity administrator. If disabled, the Search by Build Number field will not be present.
