Migration of existing project from TeamCity On-Premises to TeamCity Cloud

Is it possible to move existing TeamCity On-Premises projects to TeamCity Cloud?

Answer

Projects and associated build configurations can be exported from TeamCity On-Premises and imported to TeamCity Cloud using the project import/export features. Important to note that:

• The TeamCity On-Premises should be of the same version as installed in TeamCity Cloud (TeamCity Cloud is always kept up to date and uses the latest version of TeamCity; however, the update to the most recent version may be delayed due to additional testing required).
• Some functionality (such as build configurations that use third-party plugins) may not be supported because of the differences between TeamCity On-Premises and TeamCity Cloud.

There is no migration plan for migrating artifacts, build logs, and historical build data from TeamCity to TeamCity Cloud.
