Pending changes are not shown as pending after the failed build

Symptoms

When the build fails, TeamCity assumes that the pending changes are included in that build and no longer shows these changes as pending.

Cause

This is the expected behavior.

Even if the build has failed, TeamCity considers that as a result and associates changes with the build. The next build (in case there are any intermediate changes) will reflect only the newer commits and, in case it is successful, it will be able to see what changes fixed the build.

Resolution

No resolution is needed.
