As of 08.25.2025 users of AI subscriptions are able to purchase additional quota via Quota Top-ups. You can read more regarding this update here - JetBrains AI Cloud Quota Limits. Please make sure to check what account is being selected when you purchase the quota (in case you have several accounts or an organizational one), so it will be counted for the correct license.
What are key details?
- 1 AI credit is equivalent to USD 1.00 (charged in your local currency).
- You can buy any number of AI Credits to extend your usage. They last for 12 months.
- For organizations, top-up AI Credits are shared across the team and may be reallocated to different users.

Please make sure to double-check that you have logged in to the same account on your browser and IDE before purchasing AI credits. You can see the emails connected to the accounts in these two places:
- In the license dialog (Junie tool window → ⋮ → License info) for the specific license.
- On the final order confirmation page, under “Licensee contact” at the bottom.

Note: The top-up option is available in IDE version 2025.1 and later.
How it works?
- A monthly quota of AI Credits is included in your subscription, and you can purchase additional top-up credits at any time.
- Credits from your subscription quota are used first.
- When they are gone, usage switches automatically to your top-up AI Credits (if you have any). You can top up your AI Credits in any amount via your JetBrains Account.
- Top-up AI Credits stay valid for 12 months.
