Support screen readers setting gets checked unexpectedly after IDE restart

Problem

Support screen readers option gets automatically enabled in the IDE File | Settings | Appearance & Behavior | Appearance, Accessibility after the IDE restarts. This causes the button tooltips or quick documentation to stop appearing on hover, and it's not possible to invoke Switcher with the Ctrl+Tab shortcut anymore (Ctrl + Tab stopped calling Switcher when "Support screen readers" is on).

Cause

This might be a known issue caused by a third-party plugin - Fig, or its successor CodeWhisperer / Amazon Q. There is an issue filed to the Fig bug tracker.

Resolution

Disable the plugin in IDE Settings | Plugins, Installed.
