IntelliJ IDEA 2024.2 does not generate "serialVersionUID" field anymore

Problem

Using IDEA 2024.2.3, the Create constant field 'serialVersionUID' intention in a Java class can't be found any more, eg:

eg:

public class MyException extends Exception { // or implements Serializable
	
}

Press "Alt + Enter" on the class the name MyException, there is no intention to fix the issue.

Resolution

Please enable this inspection: via the menu File | Settings | Editor | Inspections | JVM Languages, search and enable inspection serialization class without serialVersionUID. This option is disabled by default.
