Messages are not printed in the Run console as expected for print or println due to logpoint

Question

In the script there are codes like System.out.println("Hello World!"); , but when click the Run button to execute the script, the message is not printed in the Run console.

Cause

Starting from 2026.2, we have a new debug feature called logpoints. This behavior may be caused by the unnoticed quick-fix applied during Logpoint code inspection.

Solution

The logpoint message will be printed while debugging. You can press Ctrl Z or cmd Z to undo the quick fix applying.
