How to rename Windows explorer right click context menu "Open folder as intellij idea project"

Problem:

The context menu option "Open folder as IntelliJ Idea project" is too long, users can change it to something shorter.

Environment: Windows

Solution:

1. Search for Registry Editor.

2. Open the search popup with ctrl+f. Search for "Open folder as intellij idea project"

3. You should find the entry in Computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\Background\shell\IntelliJ IDEA

   and Computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell\IntelliJ IDEA

4. Right-click and select modify.

   

5. Modify the data and click OK. This should change the context menu.
