Will Community Edition continue to receive updates and new features?

Question

Will IntelliJ IDEA be able to coexist with IntelliJ IDEA Community Edition?

Answer

After migrating to IntelliJ IDEA, you’ll be able to continue using older versions of IntelliJ IDEA Community Edition and switch between them if needed. However, unified IntelliJ IDEA will be the only edition receiving updates and new features in upcoming releases.
