"Deploy Failed: This IDE build has expired" error when connecting to the remote server

Problem

The error message with the following text is shown: Deploy Failed. This IDE build has expired. Provide another build or select 'JetBrains Installer' from the installation options to install the latest version.

This happens due to the usage of EAP IDE build for a long time. Every EAP build has an expiration date.

Resolution

Change the IDE version on the server to the most recent one. Remote Development -> SSH -> Recent SSH Projects -> Three-dots-icon -> Select different IDE.
