"Could not get host jstack" error when connecting to the remote development server – Support | JetBrains

Problem

When trying to connect to the remote server, I get an error message, "Could not get host jstack".

Cause

This message does not indicate a cause and indicates that thread dumps couldn't be collected automatically.

Resolution

To find the real cause, try looking at the previous records in the logs. The relevant logs may be received by clicking the Show logs archive button:

In the resulting archive, the idea.log file is usually relevant to the problem. It should be checked from bottom to top to see the first #c.j.g.s.GoHighLevelHostAccessor warnings. For example:
