JetBrains clients downloader fails with error: Failed to download client/jdk (code 404)

Problem

While running the jetbrains-clients-downloader tool, for example,

./jetbrains-clients-downloader --products-filter IU --versions-filter 2025.2 --platforms-filter windows-x64 ~/cwmClients

It fails with the error:

ERROR Failed to download client/jdk https://download.jetbrains.com/idea/code-with-me/JetBrainsClient-252.23892.360.win.zip: Unable to download 'https://download.jetbrains.com/idea/code-with-me/JetBrainsClient-252.23892.360.win.zip' (code 404):

Cause

The issue occurs because the tool attempts to load specific builds but fails to find them since they are not available. This behavior was fixed in version 2149 of jetbrains-clients-downloader.

Resolution

Download the latest version of the JetBrains Client Downloader from this page and retry the attempt.
