Symptoms: When using remote development, I put my laptop in sleep mode, and it can't restore the connection the next morning.
Possible cause: macOS has a feature that allows it to wake up a Mac for checking updates and receive notifications. When Mac wakes up, Gateway tries to restore the connection, but the OS stops and terminates in the middle of the process. This process, repeated multiple times in a cycle overnight, may make the connection unrecoverable.
Possible solution: "Disable Power Nap" in the macOS settings (if available) and "Wake for network access": https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/turn-power-nap-on-or-off-mh40774/mac https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/set-sleep-and-wake-settings-mchle41a6ccd/mac
Please note that "Wake for network access" also affects the computer availability for remote access while it is in sleep mode.
