Question
When connecting to a remote server, I don't see the older IDE versions. How can I install an old IDE build?
Answer
- Go to the IDE download page that you want to use and navigate to "Other Versions". Direct link for IntelliJ IDEA.
- Choose the required version.
- Copy the link to the IDE installer archive or download the archive to your local computer. Please be aware of the OS and architecture of the remote server.
- Open your local IDE or Gateway and follow to Remote Development -> SSH -> New Project -> Choose IDE and Project -> Installation Options and choose Use download link or Upload installer file.
