Background/Situation
The user is unable to download the IDE frontend for remote development due to being in an internal network environment.
Question
How can we download JetBrains Client offline on the client side?
Answer
When connecting to the backend, you have to download an IDE that matches the backend IDE version from JetBrains CDN and start a remote development session from it. In this case, the IDE frontend will be extracted from the local installation.
Please refer to the following article for step-by-step instructions: https://support.jetbrains.com/hc/en-us/articles/40158118046738-How-to-set-up-remote-development-in-an-air-gapped-environment
Also, you can set up a local storage inside your network for IDE frontends and backends. Please see the related manual: https://www.jetbrains.com/help/idea/fully-offline-mode.html
