Toolbox App: How to collect Toolbox App logs

How do I collect Toolbox App logs?

Answer

1. Set the necessary log level if requested. See Toolbox App: How to change the Toolbox App log level for more details.
2. In the app, click the locknut icon in the upper right-hand corner, select Settings, or hold the Ctrl + Comma combination
3. Go to the About tab, and click the Collect logs and diagnostic data action to save logs to the archive, or use the Show log files button to open the folder.

The logs can also be found in the file system:

• On Windows: %LocalAppData%\​JetBrains\Toolbox\​logs
• On Linux: ~/.local/share/JetBrains/Toolbox/logs/
• On macOS: ~/Library/Logs/JetBrains/Toolbox/

If there are no logs, please launch the Toolbox App via terminal with the --debug flag:

jetbrains-toolbox --debug
