Sign in using the Azure CLI tools (az cli), device login doesn't work

Problem

Can't sign in Azure using Azure CLI tools. Device login doesn't work.

Cause

The stable version of the "Azure Toolkit for Rider" (v3) is installed. Sign in using these approaches doesn't work in this version.

Resolution

Try the preview version of the Azure ToolKit plugin: https://plugins.jetbrains.com/plugin/11220-azure-toolkit-for-rider/versions/preview. Actually, this preview version can be considered as a brand new plugin. This post explains the details.
