How to install preview versions of plugins from IDE plugins marketplace

Background/Situation

JetBrains marketplace contains preview versions of plugins. It can be downloaded from the webpage which then requires manual installation via "Install from disk".

Question

Is there a way to see and install preview versions of plugins from the IDE marketplace? Is there a way to avoid "Manual installations from disk"? Is it possible to install from the marketplace and receive automatic updates for the preview versions of plugins?

Answer

There is a way to make it work. It requires adding a plugin repository: Open settings/preferences and navigate to Plugins

Click the cogwheel, and Manage Plugin Repositories…
Add https://plugins.jetbrains.com/plugins/preview/list and click OK
After that, the preview version of plugins should be available for download right from the IDE.
