How to collect Rider logs with Traces

How to collect Rider logs with some Traces for deeper investigation of a particular problem?

Answer

1. Go to Help | Diagnostic tools | Choose Trace Scenarios or Help | Choose Trace Scenarios on the Welcome screen;
2. Enable a trace scenario for a desired scenario;
3. Reproduce the issue;
4. Collect the full log bundle via Help | Collect Logs and Diagnostic Data;
5. Disable the trace scenarios in the same way;
6. Attach the resulting log bundle to your support request/ YouTrack ticket or upload it to our server and share the uploadID.
